We’re a family homestead established in 2025, built on big dreams, a whole lot of hard work, and the desire to create something meaningful together.

Whuka Farm is our little piece of heaven, but let’s be honest… homestead life isn’t always picture-perfect. 😂 There are chores to do, projects that take longer than expected, animals that keep us on our toes, gardens that teach us patience, and plenty of moments where we’re figuring things out as we go.

And that’s exactly what we want to share with you.

The Family Behind the Farm 🌱

Whuka Farm is a family effort. Dad (Chuck aka Duck) is our builder, Mom (Mary) is our gardener and baker, and I’m (Danyle) usually somewhere in the middle of the animals, the garden, a new project, or behind the camera sharing it all with you. And of course, the kids are part of the adventure, too!

We each bring something different to the farm, and together we’re learning, growing, building, and making memories along the way.

A Little Bit of Everything 🐓🐄

From chickens and ducks to guinea fowl, cows, gardens, homemade goodies, and projects that seem to multiply overnight, there’s always something happening around here.

We’ve celebrated little victories, learned from things that didn’t go as planned, and discovered that homesteading is just as much about the journey as it is about the finished product.

We’re still learning. We’re still growing. And we’re definitely still adding things to the to-do list!

Growing With Intention 🌿

Our motto, Grown With Intention, means more to us than what we plant in the ground. It’s about being thoughtful with what we build, what we grow, the memories we make, and the life we’re creating together.

This farm is a work in progress, just like all of us. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
